Working at Out Loud...

About Out Loud Developmental Services:

What started off as one Speech Pathologist working alone has now grown to a wonderful team of therapists, therapy assistants and customer support all coming together to provide private & NDIS funded therapy services in the South West of WA.

We are looking for our next superstar team member to join us on the journey. Out Loud provides speech pathology and occupational therapy services to children aged 0-16 years as we support them and their families to learn, develop, participate and thrive.

Not keen on always being stuck in the office (even though we love our custom designed clinic), or limiting ourselves to the coffee options in Bunbury, we also support families across the greater south west including Collie, Donnybrook, Bridgetown and Manjimup.

We pride ourselves on a people first approach and offer a flexible and supportive work environment where you will experience fantastic administrative support, great resources and an amazing team.

What we can offer you as an Out Loud team member:

  • working within a team of motivated, professional and kind people who share your passion in making a difference for clients and their families

  • an established and curated caseload to accommodate your clinical areas of interest

  • opportunity to explore different paediatric caseloads, develop skills to match your interests and progress as a leader in our team

  • a schedule of supervision with a senior team member to match your clinical needs and level of experience

  • support from the whole team who will share their experience and knowledge with you and get excited to learn what you have to share with us

  • realistic KPIs that allow for clinical excellence including time for planning, administration and other tasks that support the needs of our clients

  • salaried position with a package that includes above award remuneration, standard leave entitlements (including leave loading) and superannuation

  • reimbursement of mileage or access to fleet cars to support community based work

  • paid team development opportunities where we come together to share, learn and nurture our team - both on a regular basis and as special events

  • paid study leave and professional learning allowance each year where you can choose the clinical skills you develop (full time equivalent = $1000 & 5 days leave)

  • options for flexible working conditions to ensure a balance that works for you and your lifestyle

  • the resources and technology you require to do your job well including a laptop and mobile phone

  • an amazing administration team to support you in having time to do the clinical things you love

  • a place within our diverse team that provides you opportunities for to develop your career including leadership skills and/or clinical specialities

Our next Out Loud team member would be:

  • enthusiastic about working with clients with disabilities and their families

  • passionate about using the principles of family centred practice to provide therapy services

  • able to embrace the Out Loud culture and values

  • great at working within a team

  • an effective communicator (both verbal and written) with good interpersonal skills

  • looking for a role that allows for every therapist to be their best self

Our next Out Loud team member would have:

  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy

  • membership to Speech Pathology Australia or Occupational Therapy Australia (current or eligible to be obtained on employment)

  • current Driver's Licence, NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children's Check.

  • a reliable, insured car for reimbursed use in the Greater Bunbury region (company cars are available for longer journeys)

The fine print:

  • New graduates are welcome to apply for vacancies and if successful will be fully supported by our New Graduate Program

  • Experience in assessment and intervention for children aged 0-16 will be looked at favourably but is not essential
