FEES AND FUNDING
Out Loud Developmental Services provides a fee-for-service care for clients. Families may also be able to access funding through the following programs:
Private Health Care
We are registered with most major health funds. Some of our fees can be claimed back through your private health insurance depending on your level of cover. We recommend you contact your fund to discuss your individual situation.
Medicare
Rebates may be available for Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy services under Medicare. Speak with your GP or paediatrician to be referred with access to a Medicare rebate. Please note that full payment is required on the day of service and families can apply for their rebate using their paid receipt.
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

As a registered NDIS service provider, Out Loud can provide services to self-managed, plan managed and agency managed NDIS funded clients.
Out Loud charges the NDIS scheduled hourly rate for services to all clients regardless of funding type. Payment is required on the day for private clients.
Please contact us for our current fee schedule.

Cancellation and Non Attendance
Out Loud's cancellation policy is modelled on NDIS guidelines, with cancellations received with less than two clear business days' notice billed. Out Loud offers telehealth and phone services as alternatives when you can't make it into our clinic and will attempt to provide a non face-to-face service if those options also aren't suitable. Appointments missed with no notice will be billed in full.
Appointment Length
Typically an appointment consists of 45 minutes face-to-face with your therapist, with a further 15 minutes billed for non face-to-face tasks, including reviewing previous notes, selecting and setting up resources, documenting the content of the session and packing up at the end of the session. After your initial meeting, your appointments may be scheduled to be longer or shorter than this, depending on your individual needs.
