OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Out Louds Occupational Therapists are trained health professionals who support children to develop skills that allow them to engage and participate across a wide range of environments. Occupational Therapists work with children who are experiencing difficulties in completing activities required for everyday living which may also involve the elements of sensory processing, fine and gross motor development and visual perception.  Our Occupational Therapy team attend regular professional development to ensure that their knowledge and skill base is in line with current research into best practice intervention.  All Occupational Therapists working for Out Loud are registered members of Occupational Therapy Australia and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.

 

Our Occupational Therapist support the development of:

Fine Motor skills

Gross Motor skills

Visual perception

Activities of daily living (sleeping, feeding, toileting, dressing)

Sensory processing
