CANCELLATIONS AND
NON-ATTENDANCE
To cancel an appointment, call our Customer Support Team on 0421 729 625 or email info@outlouddeveloment.com. Our phone is manned from 8.30am-4.00pm Monday to Friday.
Out Loud is committed to following a transparent process when determining the billing of cancellations and is guided by the National Disability Insurance Scheme’s Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits document to:
-
only bill for cancellations received with less than two clear business days’ notice
-
always attempt to provide alternative services when a late cancellation fee cannot be avoided
-
not apply a fee to any appointment cancelled by Out Loud
-
apply the same cancellation rule to all clients, whether funded by NDIS or not.
As a courtesy, Out Loud sends automated appointment reminders to families by email and SMS.
To protect our team and clients, families are asked not to attend appointments with any person (including siblings) who is too unwell to attend school or work. Call our Customer Support Team on 0421 729 625 to discuss alternative services such as telehealth, to help us maintain our Infection Control standards.
Out Loud will abide by the infection control guidelines for all communicable illness and require that individuals be cleared from illnesses (e.g., gastro, school sores, hand foot and mouth) before recommencing services to ensure a child is no longer contagious when interacting with our team.
The requirement to be past the phase of contagiousness applies to other family members including siblings and parents/caregivers who will attend the appointment with the child.
Group Therapy Programs and Hangouts
The price structure of group activities is based on knowing the number of children attending ahead of time, with the cost of the entire program shared between that number of families. All cancellations of group activities are billable, regardless of the length of notice received.
Non-attendance
If an appointment is not attended, without providing any prior notice (Did Not Attend), the family forfeits the service and Out Loud will be paid the agreed fee as if the service had occurred.
Where a child attends for only part of the scheduled service, the fee payable will remain the amount for the originally scheduled service.
